It’s easy to get used to sitting in the comfort of home and ordering everything online. You’d think that having one delivery vehicle on the road instead of lots of people driving to the high street would reduce pollution.
Fact is, evidence suggests the software used by many delivery companies uses inefficient routes that cause more pollution. Perhaps, drone delivery will solve the problem, but for now it’s about better GPS and better route-finder software.
